FED WATE - Per Pallet (40kg bags)
Description
FED WATE (also known as Barium Sulfate) is a high-quality, drilling-grade barite used to increase fluid density in a wide variety of drilling fluids. Due to its unique high specific gravity and API specifications, M-I Wate is the most widely used weight material for fluid systems. M-I Wate is chemically inert and insoluble; therefore this product does not interfere with otheradditives in a fluid system.
The amount of FED Wate material required to increase the density can be calculated with the following formulas:
M-IWate, lb/bbl = (1,435(w2-w1))/34-w2)
Where:
W1= Initial Mud Weight in lb/gal
W2= Desired Mud Weight in lb/gal
